1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ParkMyAWS ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ParkMyAWS is a SaaS platform that automates the scheduling of AWS resources (EC2 instances and RDS databases) to help reduce cloud infrastructure costs. The Service allows you to define schedules to automatically stop and start resources during non-business hours.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Create an account with accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be at least 18 years of age or have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. AWS Account Access

By connecting your AWS account to ParkMyAWS, you authorize us to perform scheduling operations on your EC2 and RDS resources using the IAM role you configure. You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring the IAM policy grants only the minimum required permissions
  • Verifying that scheduled actions are appropriate for your environment
  • Maintaining backups and safeguards for your AWS resources
  • Any AWS charges incurred as a result of using the Service

5. Subscription and Billing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees as displayed at the time of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

  • All payments are processed securely through Paddle, our payment provider
  • Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice
  • Refunds are handled in accordance with our refund policy
  • A free trial may be offered; no charge is made until the trial period ends

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to manage resources in violation of AWS Terms of Service
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We are not liable for any downtime, delays, or failures in scheduling operations due to AWS outages, network issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ParkMyAWS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements or that scheduling operations will execute without error.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
